The client's hunting safari should normally provide any trophy material (e.g. ivory for carved fittings, buffalo hide for desktops, etc) to be included in the manufacture of the piece.

Costs are quoted according to the piece required.  The price of the piece ensures Albin Baecker's exclusive and undivided attention to that one piece of exquisite and unique trophy furniture, from design, through tree safari and game hunting, to the treatment and preparation of both wood and trophy material, to manufacture in South Africa and final finishes in the studio in Scotland, to the final shipping to the client.

The fee due to Albin Baecker for commissioning the completed piece represents the cost of the wood to construct the piece,Baecker's time spent constructing the pice and the purchase price of the finished piece.  50% is payable in advance of the tree safari and the balance is payable before freight ex-Scotland, according to the terms of an agreed Letter of Credit.
